ARGUMENTAIRE TAXONOMIQUE
Le genre Tricypha Möschler, 1878 est décrit pour y inclure des espèces dont les ailes antérieures du mâle possèdent une nervure en demi-cercle, particularité unique chez les Arctiinae . Depuis, neuf autres espèces ont été classées dans ce genre, mais deux d’entre elles ne présentent pas cette caractéristique. Il s’agit des espèces Tricypha obscura (Hampson, 1898) et Tricypha ochrea ( Hampson, 1901) qui doivent donc être reclassées. Au vu de leur habitus, elles correspondent plutôt au genre Biturix Walker, 1855 . Nous proposons donc ces recombinaisons, qui devront être testées par la biologie moléculaire.
