ARGUMENTAIRE TAXONOMIQUE
Idalus flavithorax forme intensiva Gaede, 1928 est décrite pour des spécimens provenant de Colombie. Au regard de l’article 45.6.4 du Code International de Nomenclature Zoologique (ICZN, 1999), cette forme doit être considérée comme une sous-espèce de R. flavithorax sp. rev. Cependant Watson & Goodger (1986) associent par erreur cette forme à Demolis flavithorax Rothschild, 1909 . Nous proposons donc de rétablir la combinaison correcte.
