Koch (1940) described this species from Guarda, and refer one specimen from South Portugal in Reitter‟s collection, and one from Lisbon in the National Museum of Praga. Scheerpeltz (1958) described Nazeris ibericus View in CoL (nec Koch, 1940) by means of 1 ♂ and 1 ♀ from Coimbra. Fagel (1958) recorded it from Lisboa, Cascais, 2/02/1930, 1 ♂, Lisboa, 3/02/1930, 1 ♀, and 1 ♀ from BuÇaco and 1 ♀ from Gerês with a note that these specimens seem to be from Oliveira‟s catches and 2 ♀♀ from Portugal (cFag) that he kept separated until obtaining one male specimen. Fagel (1960) recorded it from Luso-BuÇaco, Scheerpeltz (1960) from Lousã, and Prado e Castro et al. (2010, 2013) from Lisbon. Coiffait (1971) described Nazeris algarvensis View in CoL from Algarve, Serra de Monchique, Foia, 1 ♂ (cCoi). Bordoni (1975) described Nazeris sengleti View in CoL from Portugal from Beira Litoral, Aveiro, Pedorido, 2/09/1969, 1 ♂ (Holotype), leg. G. Senglet (cMHNG), same date, paratype, topotype, 1 ex. (cBor); Minho, Viana do Castelo, Quejadas, 31/08/1969, 1 ex., leg. G. Senglet (cMHNG) and recorded it as Nazeris ibericus View in CoL from Loures, Marateca (Seṫbal) and Lagoa da Arrábida (Seṫbal). Gama et al. (2000) mentioned it from Serra de Monchique. Assing (2009a) designated a lectotype from Coimbra and studied two paralectotypes from Porto. Drugman & Outerelo (1997) reported it, as N. algarvensis View in CoL , from Serra de Monchique, and from BuÇaco, Gerês and Coimbra, as N. atlanticus View in CoL . They also compiled records from Cascais, Lisboa, Lousã, Luso-BuÇaco and Seṫbal, as N. ibericus View in CoL , and Beira Litoral and Minho, as N. sengleti View in CoL . Boieiro et al. (1999) also reported it from Estremadura, both as N. algarvensis View in CoL and N. ibericus View in CoL . Gamarra & Outerelo (2007) cited Nazeris atlanticus View in CoL as new for Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro. Gamarra & Outerelo (2020) reported it from Minho, Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Douro Litoral, Beira Litoral, Estremadura, Baixo Alentejo and Algarve, but missed Beira Alta (Guarda), referred by Koch (1940).

Distribution: Known from Morocco, Portugal and Spain (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015).

Barros (1926) recorded this species described from the Western Caucasus in Oleiros (Beira Baixa), identification confirmed by Dr. A. Fleischer. Not reported from Portugal by Sch̡lke & Smetana (2015) or Gamarra & Outerelo (2020), we considered it a species in need of confirmation.

Distribution: Only known from the Russian South European Territory according to Sch̡lke & Smetana (2015).

Quedenfeldt (1884) recorded this species from BuÇaco. Oliveira (1893) refers this species from BuÇaco, Coimbra, Espinho, Gerês and Vizela. Not listed for Portugal by Sch̡lke & Smetana (2015). Gamarra & Outerelo (2020) reported it from Minho, Douro Litoral and Beira Litoral. Ferreira (2021a) reports 1 ex. from Penamaior, 2 ex. without locAlity And 1 ex. with the № 17 .

Distribution: Known from Algeria and Tunisia (Sch̡lke & Smetana, 2015), but also from Portugal and Spain ( Gamarra & Outerelo, 2020).
