Type locality. Germany, Kiel (“Habitat Kiliae Dom. Daldorf”).
Material examined. Kiel coll. 1 type. S & TL coll. 1 specimen.
Identity. Pammene rhediella (Clerck, 1759) View in CoL ( Olethreutinae , Grapholitini ).
Remarks. This name is a synonym of Phalaena rhediella Clerck according to Duponchel (1835). This concept has remained stable in the literature (e.g., Brown 2005). The type is in poor condition and lacks the head and abdomen, whereas the specimen from the S & TL collection is an unspread female in good condition.
