Type material. Holotype ♂, CHINA, Yunnan Province, Lushui County: Pianma Township , 25.98936°N, 98.66406°E, 2725 – 2760 m, 14.V.2005, Ke-ji Guo leg. ( GKJ003 ) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 1♀, same data as holotype ( GKJ 003) GoogleMaps ; 2♀, Pianma Township , Chanyan River, 25.99363°N, 98.66651°E, 2470 m, 13–14.V.2005, Charles Griswold leg. ( CGY 105) GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The specific epithet derived from the type locality, the Pianma Township.
Diagnosis. The new species resembles A. breviscapus n. sp. ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 , 2 View FIGURE 2 ), but can be distinguished by: 1) ventral ramus of median apophysis arises from the anterior portion of median apophysis, with serrated tip in A. pianmaensis n. sp. ( Fig. 6C View FIGURE 6 ) vs. from the posterior portion of median apophysis, with blunt tip in A. breviscapus n. sp. ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ); 2) distal portion of embolic lamella partly covered by subterminal apophysis in lateral view in A. pianmaensis n. sp. ( Fig. 6E View FIGURE 6 ) vs. covers subterminal apophysis in A. breviscapus n. sp. ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ); 3) tip of scape expanded distinctly in A. pianmaensis n. sp. ( Fig. 6G View FIGURE 6 ) vs. tip as wide as base in A. breviscapus n. sp. ( Fig. 2G View FIGURE 2 ); 4) copulatory openings slit-shaped in A. pianmaensis n. sp. ( Fig. 6H View FIGURE 6 ) vs. arc-shaped in A. breviscapus n. sp. ( Fig. 2H View FIGURE 2 ).
