DISTRIBUTION: Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Gambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Lusaka, in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants are: one Theaceae species, Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze; one yet to be identified Rubiaceae species, Coffea sp. ; one Lythraceae species, Lagerstroemia indica L.; one yet to be identified Proteaceae species, Macadamia sp. ; one identified and one yet to be identified Malvaceae species namely, Theobroma cacao L. and Corchorus sp. ; two Euphorbiaceae species, Acalypha glabrata Thunb. and Ricinus communis L.; two Sapindaceae species Deinbollia oblongifolia (E.Mey. ex Arn.) Radlk. and Dodonaea sp. ; one Ebenaceae species, Diospyros lycioides Desf. and one Celastraceae species, Putterlickia verrucosa (E. Mey. ex Sond.) Szyszył.
