Manotes plana Kertész, 1916: 181 View in CoL ; 181, fig. 30 (head, lateral view). Holotype: female (HNHM, destroyed according to Woodley 2001: 118). Type locality: Paraguay, Asunción.

= Borboridea nigrobasalis Lindner, 1949a: 786 View in CoL . Nomen nudum.

= Borboridea nigrobasalis Lindner, 1949b: 886 View in CoL . Syntypes: 3 males, 1 female (NHMUK). Type locality: Brazil, Santa Catarina, Nova Teutonia (= Seara).
