Type material of Neobrettus heongi (examined). Holotype ♁ (coll. no. Dap 47), CHINA: Hainan Island, Dapo Town, Dapo Village , 25.III–9.IV.2012, leg. A. T. Barrion et al .; Paratypes: 2♁ 3♀ 3 juvenile, same data as holotype .

Description and diagnosis. See Banerjee et al. (2019) for an illustrated redescription and diagnosis of both sexes.

Distribution. China ( Hainan), India, Bhutan and Malaysia.

Comments. The type material of N. heongi was examined and no differences were observed between the males and females of N. tibialis and N. heongi . Thus, N. heongi syn. nov. is treated here as a junior synonym of N. tibialis .
