Type material of Emertonella hainanica (examined). Holotype ♀ (coll. No. Da 1), CHINA: Hainan Island, Danzhou, 4.IV.2011, leg. A. T. Barrion et al.
Description and diagnosis. See Zhu (1998) for the original description and diagnosis of the species.
Distribution. China ( Hainan, Hunan).
Comments. The female holotype of E. hainanica was examined and no differences between E. galeiforma and E. hainanica were observed. Therefore, we consider E. hainanica syn. nov. to be a junior synonym of E. galeiforma .
