Type:— s. loc., ex hort., s.d., L. Van Houtte s.n. ( lectotype, designated here: K barcode K000463105 !).
Notes: — Lindley & Paxton (1852) described N. trisepala without mentioning the holotype or herbarium where the deposit occurred in the protologue. However, material with evidence of having been used in the original description has been located in collection at the K herbarium. Therefore, it the sample K barcode K 000463105 is designated here as a lectotype.
