Taxonomic notes. Eurydoxa advena is the type species of the genus Eurydoxa Filipjev. The female genitalia of the holotype are figured here for the first time. In Gilligan et al. (2018) orbimaculata Kurentsov, 1956, and ussuriensis Kurentsov, 1956 were listed as junior synonyms of advena with the mention that their types are deposited in ZISP. However, the types of species described by Kurentsov were initially kept in the Federal Scientific Center of the East Asia Terrestrial Biodiversity in Vladivostok, Russia. Unfortunately, Kurentsov’s collection is no longer deposited in Vladivostok and it is most likely impossible to determine whether it was transferred or lost. As a result, the type specimens of orbimaculata Kurentsov, 1956, and ussuriensis Kurentsov, 1956 have not been located and are presumed lost.
