Distribution: Western Indian Ocean to South China Sea and East Asia: from Red Sea, India, Singapore, Indonesia, South and East China Seas and Japan ( Chen 1989).

Habitat: Subtidal; bottom of sandy mud of soft mud, depths of 11 to 204 m ( Chen 1989).
