Summary. Carpophilus ( Ecnomorphus) jahari Dasgupta et Pal , sp. n. is described from

Arunachal Pradesh in Northeastern India. New species is similar to C. ( E.) plagiatipennis

Motschulsky, 1858 and C. ( E.) signatus Grouvelle, 1908 but differs from both by the structure of male genitalia.
