Diagnosis and Description. See Zhu (1998).

Remarks. This species shares the same somatic characteristics with Episunus nanyue Yin, 2012 , including dark brown carapace with 3 pairs of light brown lateral markings, brown markings on legs, and pairs of transverse black lines on posterior part of opisthosoma ( Fig. 21A, B, E, F, I, J View FIGURES 21 ). Therefore, this species is likely to be conspecific with E. nanyue . Further research is needed to conclusively resolve this question.
