NHMUK IA 48425 About NHMUK from the Late Silurian-aged (Ludlow) Upper Ludlow Formation (?) in England was originally described has having LCEs along well-defined ophthalmic ridges ( Bergström, 1975). The type material has not been re-examined since its original publication. We found no convincing evidence for LCEs upon revision, but ovate structures on possible ophthalmic ridges ( Fig. 2F) might represent the location of an ocular structure. Additional material is required before this aspect of the morphology can be confirmed. Furthermore, other radial ridges are noted ( Fig. 2E, F) .
