Diversity and phylogeny of Lynchellidae • 3 Diagnosis: Lynchellidae with cross-striated band (CSB) around the perimeter between ventral and dorsal surfaces; somatic kineties completely separated into anterior and posterior parts; posterior somatic kineties continuous; trilinear perioral kineties; both anterior and lef terminal fragments present.
Etymology: Te genus-group name ‘ Paracoeloperix ’ is composed of the Greek prefix ‘ para- ’ (meaning ‘besides’) and the generic epithet ‘ Coeloperix ’, in recognition that this genus bears a close morphological resemblance to Coeloperix . Feminine gender.
Type species: Paracoeloperix composita gen. nov., sp. nov.
