Neotype (Leuckert & Poelt in Nova Hedwigia 49: 149. 1989): Sweden. Dalarna, Grangärde, Hällön, Lake Rämen, W-side of island, Mar 1959, R. Santesson 1737a (BM).

Current name: Lecanora rupicola (L.) Zahlbr. ( Lecanoraceae).
