Cardiohypnus wittmeri Dolin, 1992: 215 (original description; published type locality: Zojila-Drass, India; another locality- India: Jammu & Kashmir); Korneev & Cate, 2005: 25 ( type catalogue); Cate, 2007: 187 (catalogue; “KA” as India: Kashmir); Gupta et al., 2018: 502 (catalogue; “2A” as India: Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir).

Type Locality. India: Zoji La-Drass , Kargil District, Ladakh .

Type Depository. Holotype, M ( NHMB); 8 Paratypes, 5 M, 3 F ( NHMB, SIZK).

Distribution in India. Jammu & Kashmir (Ganderbal District), Ladakh (Kargil District).

General Distribution. India, Pakistan ( Dolin 1992).

Remark. As the presence of this species in Himachal Pradesh requires confirmation, this locality is not included here.
