Hemiops luridus Vats & Kashyap, 1992a: 248 (original description; published type locality: Morni Hills , India).

Type Locality. India: Morni Hills, Panchkula District , Haryana.

Type Depository. Holotype, M (??), 8 Paratypes, 8 M (??).

Distribution in India. Haryana (Panchkula District, Yamunanagar District).

General Distribution. India.

Remark. Known only from male specimens. The type material is not present in FRID and may be deposited in IARI, but this could not be verified. The species is considered endemic to India.
