Plectrosternus convexus Vats & Kashyap, 1992a: 247 (original description; published type locality: Thuligad, India); Cate, 2007: 188 (catalogue; “UP” as India: Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh); Gupta et al., 2018: 502 (catalogue; “2B” as India: Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand).

Legna convexa ( Vats & Kashyap, 1992a) : Kundrata et al., 2019a: 123 (erroneously mentioned the author of the species as “ Vats, 1991 ”; transferred to Legna View in CoL ).

Type Locality. India: Thuligarh, Champawat District , Uttarakhand [Thuligad, Pithoragarh, Uttar Pradesh] .

Type Depository. Holotype, F (??).

Distribution in India. Uttarakhand (Champawat District).

General Distribution. India.

Remark. Known only from a single female specimen. The type material is not present in FRID and may be housed in IARI, but this could not be verified. As the presence of this species in Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh requires confirmation, these localities are not included here. The species is considered endemic to India.
