Type Locality. India: Kalimpong District [Kalimpong, Darjeeling District], West Bengal .

Type Depository. Holotype, M ( NHMB); 28 Paratypes, 8 M, 20 F ( NHMB, SIZK).

Distribution in India. Sikkim (Gangtok District, Gyalshing District), Uttarakhand (Dehradun District, Nainital District), West Bengal (Bankura District, Darjeeling District, Kalimpong District, Nadia District).

General Distribution. India, Nepal ( Dolin 1993; Cate 2007; Schimmel & Tarnawski 2009).

Remark. As the presence of this species in Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh requires confirmation, these localities are not included here.
