Collection information.
USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: five individuals from five sites. Caught in flight trap from 2 June – 30 June 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern North America.
Saproxylic habits.
Bores through the rotten sapwood and heartwood of hardwoods and conifers ( Baker 1972).
Conservation.
Rare in the Maritime Provinces of Canada, possibly due to the history of intensive forest management in the region altering forest composition and structure ( Majka 2007).
