Genus Miltochrista Hübner, [1819]
Type species: Noctua rubicunda [Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775
The M. hollowai View in CoL and the M. curvifascia View in CoL species-groups are closely similar by the valva deeply bifurcated into the dorsal and ventral halves, of which, the latter is conspicuously shorter, and the variously modified distal saccular process. However, both the groups are distinct by the dorsal half of the valva structure, which is broader and apically rounded in the M. hollowai View in CoL species-group whereas, it is narrower with a prominent distal costal process in the M. curvifascia View in CoL species-group.
