Material: One apical fragment (Ge 33495) within the original matrix. Preserved length: 56 mm. Maximal diameter: 16 mm.

Description: Te apex is acute, strongly compressed, and asymmetrical in profile. Imprints of two dorsolateral grooves are well visible.

Remarks: Te genus Pseudohastites is closely related to Passaloteuthis , from which it is distinguished by an asymmetrical and elongate apex, and a more compressed cross-section. Morphologically, its shape can be defined as intermediate between the genera Passaloteuthis and Bairstowius Jeletzky, 1994 in Doyle et al., 1994.
