Turiones suberectos o arqueados, en general pelosos, sin glándulas estipitadas, con acúleos homogéneos. Folíolos coriáceos, sin pelos estrellados en el haz y, en general, de envés tomentoso (con pelos estrellados). Eje de las inflorescencias sin glándulas estipitadas.
