Turiones arqueado-decumbentes, ± pelosos, con o sin glándulas estipitadas, acúleos homogéneos. Folíolos en general con pelos estrellados en el haz –a veces glabra o subglabra– y envés tomentoso. Inflorescencias subcilíndricas, a veces piramidales, estrechas, que sobresalen mucho en la mata por encima de los turiones. Pétalos blancos, que amarillean al secarse.
