Anthaxia ( Haplanthaxia) impressipennis Bílý, 2008: 48 .
Since the description of the species (Bílý 2008), I have had the opportunity to study two additional specimens of this species labeled: “ Rep. S. Afr., Nylsvley, Naboomspruit, SE 24 28 Da // 110 m, Savanna Ecosystem Research Project, C.S.I. R. // bred from Lannea discolor (Sond.) View in CoL [ Anacardiaceae View in CoL ], x.[19]77” ( 1 female, NMPC) and “Nylsvlei, SE 24 28 Da, vii.[19]76, (uitgeteel uit [reared from] Lannea discolor View in CoL ), L. Jasenhager [leg.]” ( 1 female, NMPC). New country record; new host plant for the species-group .
