Collection information.

USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: three individuals from three sites. Caught in flight trap from 30 June – 9 September 2020.

Distribution.

Southeastern United States, south to Mexico.

Saproxylic habits.

Larvae develop in rotten oak logs, where they feed on the decaying wood ( Savely 1939).
