Tettigades macrogina Torres 1949: 184 View in CoL ( type material examined).

Type locality. Central Pampa, La Pampa Province, Argentina.

Remarks. The species was reported from the type locality in La Pampa Province by Torres (1949; 1958d). We were sent specimens from Chubut.

New provincial records. Prov. Chubut, Trelew , 29-XI-1997, D. Rojas Lanus coll. ( three males, AFSC) .
