Collection information.
USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: nine individuals from eight sites. Caught in flight trap from 25 March – 9 September 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern North America.
Saproxylic habits.
Adults and larvae occur under bark of rotting oaks and pine ( Savely 1939; Stephan 1989; Gil 2008); emerged from loblolly pine, sweetgum, and especially oaks, and associated with logs at base of dead trees ( Ulyshen and Hanula 2009 a).
