(Figures 25–40)
Measurement. Body length: male (N=2) (incl. tegmen): 7.8–7.9 mm (except tegmen: 3.5–3.6 mm), female (N=2) (incl. tegmen): 7.4–7.5 mm (except tegmen: 2.4–2.5 mm); length of tegmen: male (N=2): 6.7–6.8 mm, female (N=2): 6.1–6.2 mm.
Coloration. Body brown to black. Vertex with lateral marginal carinae yellowish brown and disc brown (Fig. 25). Frons yellowish, with lateral marginal carinae yellowish, in lateral view, genae each with two small black spots in front of eyes, of which small spot at basal quarter and large one at apical third (Fig. 27). Postclypeus black, longitudinal median carina yellow (Fig. 26). Rostrum yellowish, with apical segment black (Fig. 27). Eyes blackish brown; ocelli yellow. Antennae yellowish, with pedicel tinged black in middle (Figs 25–27). Pronotum dark brown, with a transverse yellow streak at middle and a yellowish brown spot on each lateral part, margins and longitudinal median carina yellow (Figs 25–27). Mesonotum dark brown, with longitudinal median carina and lateral carinae yellowish brown, scutellum with posterior margin yellowish (Fig. 25). Tegula brown (Figs 25, 27). Tegmina off-white and semitransparent, with three continuous transverse dark brown bands from anterior margin to posterior margin, first band at connection of Pcu+A 1 level, second one at apex of clavus level, third one at first r-m level, and irregular dark brown markings in apical quarter, costal cell with tiger stripes, jugal margin with a dark brown marking, veins yellowish brown to dark brown (Fig. 30). Wings off-white, with a triangular dark brown stripe at base and dark brown markings in apical quarter, dark brown stripes along veinlets and transverse branches of veins, veins yellow to dark brown (Fig. 75). Coxae of legs black and rest yellowish (Figs 26, 27). Abdomen black, with three rows of small yellow spots on tergite V to VII (Figs 28, 29). Male terminalia brown.
Structure. Head and thorax. Vertex about 1.5 times longer in midline than width of base (Fig. 25). Frons with lateral marginal carinae contiguous (Fig. 26). Antennae with pedicel about 3.2 times longer than widest part and about equal to frons (Figs 25–27). Mesonotum about nine times longer than pronotum in midline, disc raised apparently and posterior part flat, with three indistinct longitudinal carinae, median carina straight and lateral two curved towards middle at posterior third (Figs 25, 27). Tegmina narrow and elongate, about 3.5 times longer than widest part; ScP+RA separating from RP slightly beyond middle of tegmen; CuA forked about at same level of MP 1+2 forking and basal third of tegmen, CuA 1 fused with CuA 2 near apex to form a common stem and then extending to posterior margin, cell 5 present and small (Fig. 30). Wings with MP two-branched, CuA two-branched (Fig. 75). Metatibiotarsal formulae: 4-(6–8)-(8–9) (Figs 31, 32).
Male terminalia. Anal tube narrow and long, slightly groove, in dorsal view rectangular, slightly narrow at middle, sharply constricted to conical at apex, with anal stylus at middle, epiproct wide and rectangular, paraproct long and oval (Figs 28, 36); in lateral view, widest basally, narrow and inclined ventrad in apical third, dorsal margin convex dorsad at basal third, dorsolateral margin slightly elevated from basal third to subapical part and slightly convex at apical sixth, ventral margin slightly arched ventrad in middle third (Figs 29, 33, 35). Pygofer narrow, in lateral view, widest ventrally, anterior margin concave at dorsal quarter, posterior margin arched caudad in dorsal quarter (Fig. 35), in ventral view, venter wide rectangular, with anterior and posterior margins straight (Fig. 34). Gonostylus narrow and long, in dorsal view, broad basally, narrow and incurved apically (Fig. 34), in lateral view, bifurcated apically into two processes, one of which long and pointed apically on inside, slightly curved, other one short and triangular, protruded caudad; with a large internal auricular process inside near dorsal base, densely covered long setae on surface (Fig. 37). Phallic complex moderately short and stout in appearance, in dorsal view, periandrium with right margin arched outwards (Fig. 38); in lateral view, periandrium with ventral margin somewhat sinuate and dorsal margin arched dorsad at middle, ventral basal angle protruded slightly, forming a small dentate shape (Figs 39, 40); with three long processes at apex, from left to right: 1) an elongate and acute process on left side, gradually tapered distad, directed dorsad mainly, slightly curved caudad apically; 2) a large and elongate process directed dorsocephalad, broad at base and gradually tapered distad, deflexed near base; 3) a moderately long and acute process on right of first two, directed dorsocaudad and curved centrally (Figs 38–40).
Type material. Holotype: ♂ ( NWAFU), Fengyang Mountain , Zhejiang Province, China, 1200 m, 4 Aug. 2009, coll. Wang Manqiang, Liu Jingxian.
Paratypes: 1♂ ( NWAFU), Shangkeng Village , Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Province, China, 4 Aug. 2009, coll. Guo Hongwei. 1♀ ( NWAFU), Taoyuanyu Village , Wuyi Mountain , Fujian Province, China, 600 m, 18 Aug. 2008, coll. Wang Manqiang. 1♀ ( NWAFU), same data as holotype .
Etymology. The specific epithet refers to three dark bands on the tegmen.
Remarks. This species is significantly different from S. formosana and S. curva by its unique phallic characteristics.
