(Figures 1–10)
Measurement. Body length: male (N=1) (incl. tegmen): 6.4 mm (except tegmen: 2.9 mm), length of tegmen: 5.6 mm.
Coloration. Body blackish brown to black. Vertex with lateral marginal carinae yellowish and disc black (Fig. 1). Frons yellowish, with lateral marginal carinae yellowish, in lateral view, genae each with two small black spots in front of eyes, of which light spot at basal third and dark one at apical third (Figs 2, 3). Postclypeus black, anteclypeus yellowish to white, labrum red. Rostrum yellowish, with apical segment black (Figs 2, 3). Eyes blackish brown; ocelli yellow. Antennae yellowish. Pronotum black, with margins and median carina white (Figs 1–3). Mesonotum black, with white posterior margin, median carina white at anterior quarter, lateral carinae same color as mesonotum (Fig. 1). Tegula black, with posterior marginal angle near side corner of mesonotum milk white (Fig. 1). Tegmina off-white and semitransparent, with dark brown irregular markings in apical quarter, costal cell with two dark brown markings at base, MP branches with dark brown spots at terminal, jugal margin with a dark brown marking, veins yellowish brown to dark brown (Fig. 4, 5, 73). Wings off-white with a triangular dark brown stripe at base, veins yellowish brown (Fig. 74). Coxae of fore and middle legs black, rest yellowish (Figs 2, 3). Abdomen black (Figs 1, 3). Anal tube of male and gonostyli yellow, slightly darker at apex (Fig. 3).
Structure. Head and thorax. Vertex about 1.7 times longer in midline than width of base (Fig. 1). Frons with lateral marginal carinae contiguous (Fig. 2). Antennae with pedicel about 2.1 times longer than widest part and shorter than frons (Figs 1–3). Mesonotum about nine times longer than pronotum in midline, disc raised apparently and posterior part flat, with three indistinct longitudinal carinae, median carina straight and lateral two curved towards middle at posterior third (Figs 1, 3). Right tegmen: narrow and elongate, about 3.5 times longer than widest part; ScP+RA separating from RP slightly beyond middle of tegmen; CuA forked about at same level of MP 1+2 forking and basal third of tegmen, CuA 1 fused with CuA 2 near apex to form a common stem and then extending to posterior margin, cell 5 present and small (Figs 4, 73). Left tegmen with CuA simple, cell 5 absent, other features same as on right (Fig. 5). Wings with MP two-branched, CuA two-branched (Fig. 74). Metatibiotarsal formula: 4- 7-8 (Fig. 6).
Male terminalia. Anal tube narrow and long, slightly groove, in dorsal view, subtrapezoidal, wide basally and slightly constricted distad, sharply constricted to conical at apex, with anal stylus at middle, epiproct wide and subtrapezoidal, paraproct long and oval (Fig. 7); in lateral view, dorsal margin convex dorsad in basal third, narrow triangular and inclined ventrad at apex, dorsolateral margin slightly elevated from basal third to subapical part and angularly convex at apical sixth (Fig. 8). Gonostylus narrow and long, in dorsal view, C-shaped, dorsal margin short and ventral margin long, narrow and incurved at middle, broad and truncated obliquely at apex, hirsutiusculus (Fig. 10); in lateral view, slightly arched ventrad at middle and curved dorsad in apical third, angularly protruded caudad at apex; with a large internal auricular process inside near dorsal base, densely covered long setae on surface, in addition, with a small hook-like process protruded caudad at subapical part of it, and a conical lobe protruded caudad on inside below it, blunt acute and hirsutiusculus (Fig. 9).
Type material. Holotype: ♂ ( NWAFU), Mahuangtang Village , Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture , Yunnan Province, China, 900 m, 11 Jun. 2009, coll. Zhang Lei.
Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the dark brown markings on the apical part of tegmina.
Remarks. This species is significantly different from the currently known species of Shizuka by its unique tegminal markings and non-bifurcated gonostyli. Unfortunately, the features of the phallic complex and pygofer of this specimen are damaged and missing, so they cannot be compared with those of other species.
