Comments.
This species is distributed from the E Mediterranean east to W Kazakhstan ( Nentwig et al. 2025). In the Caucasus region, it was mainly recorded in N Caucasus with a single report from S Caucasus in the Samachablo region of Georgia ( Ponomarev and Shmatko 2020). It is the second and the southernmost record of M. malkini in the S Caucasus.
