Locality.
Site Y 301 (Fig. 1 View Figure 1 , Table 1 View Table 1 ), slowly flowing river in Huaping County.
Material examined.
One dissected female ( WOC 195 ).
Dimensions.
Female LV (n = 1) L 0.66 mm, H 0.33 mm, H / L 0.50 (Table 3 View Table 3 ). RV (n = 1) L 0.64 mm, H 0.32 mm, H / L 0.50.
Brief description of Cp.
Cp elongated in lateral view, similar to those of Cavernocypris xiangi sp. nov. LV with ventral margin less concave than RV. Valve surface rough, densely covered with small shallow pits and setal pores bearing elevated (volcano-like) rims (Fig. 8 G View Figure 8 ). Calcified inner lamella of RV without inner list (Fig. 8 F View Figure 8 ).
