Pygmodispus odontotarsus Sevastianov, 1975 : in Sosnina & Sevastianov, p. 207, Figs 17-20.

This species was described from the nest of small mammal in Crimea ( Sosnina & Sevastianov 1975). It was also recorded in left-bank Ukraine ( Khaustov 2008).

This is the first record of phoresy of this species and first record in Africa.

Material examined. ALGERIA: 1 female on Hybalus sp., Algeria (without more detailed data) .
