Distribution: DE to south FL to southern AZ to MO, with Mexican records as far south as the Yucatan. The single Kentucky record was photographed in the far western part of the state ( Mississippi Valley Loess Plains; Map 146).

Larval host plants: Bumelia lanuginosa , Carya , Morus and Nyssa uniflora ( Monné & Nearns 2022c)
Comments: Attracted to lights and fermenting sugar. It can be collected on the stems of desert broom ( Baccharis ) in the southwestern part of its range.
