Type host: Sphenodon punctatus
Current status: a synonym of Archaeocroton sphenodonti and its original name ( Guglielmone et al. 2020, 2023). The current status of Aponomma sphenodonti , as Archaecroton sphenodonti , was established by Barker & Burger (2018).
