Type host: goat
Current status: a synonym of Hyalomma turanicum and its original name. The current status of Hyalomma marginatum turanicum , as Hyalomma turanicum , was provided first by Hoogstraal (1956a), and definitively by Apanaskevich & Horak (2008b).
