Type locality: Tappen , near Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada
Type host: Ochotona princeps
Comments: Gregson (1941) listed a female, nymphs and larvae as paratypes deposited in the USNTC, but Robbins & Keirans (1992) found only a paratype (female) in that collection.
