Type depository: BMNH: syntypes (males and females) ( Keirans & Hillyard 2001)

Type locality: Fagus Cove , Isabela Island, Galápagos Islands, Ecuador

Type host: Amblyrhynchus cristatus

Comments: Guglielmone et al. (2014) listed paratypes deposited in the MCZ, but KLC, IR and RGR visited the MCZ in 2024 and paratypes were not found there.
