Type locality: uncertain

Type host: marmots

Current status: Filippova (1977) and Kolonin (2009) treated Ixodes filippovae as invalid, while the species described in Černý (1961) was considered questionable and provisional in Guglielmone et al. (2014, 2020).

Comments: Černý (1961) treated the larva and nymph of Ixodes crenulatus from marmots in Filippova (1958) as a new species that he named Ixodes filippovae , without designation of type specimens.
