Current status: a synonym of Rhipicephalus haemaphysaloides ( Camicas et al. 1998) and its original name ( Guglielmone & Nava 2014). The current status of Rhipicephalus haemaphysaloides niger , as Rhipicephalus haemaphysaloides , was established by Neumann (1897).
