Type locality: Belgachia , Kolkata, State of West Bengal, India
Type host: Himalayan zebu
Current status: a synonym of Alloceraea aponommoides and its original name. The current status of Haemaphysalis inermis aponommoides , as Alloceraea aponommoides , was established by Kelava et al. (2024).
