Type host: buffalo

Current status: a synonym of Hyalomma isaaci and its original name. The current status of Hyalomma aegyptium isaaci , as Hyalomma isaaci , was first determined by Kratz (1940) and definitively established by Apanaskevich & Horak (2008b).
