Comments: Kaufman (1972) and Kolonin (2009) treated Amblyomma arcanum (under the former genus Aponomma ) as invalid, but it was considered valid by Santos Dias (1993) and provisionally valid by Guglielmone et al. (2014, 2020, 2023) and here.
