Type host: fox
Current status: a synonym of Rhipicephalus pusillus and its original name ( Gil Collado 1938). The current status of Rhipicephalus bursa pusillus , as Rhipicephalus pusillus , was also provided by this author.
Comments: a neotype was designated under the name Rhipicephalus pusillus , not Rhipicephalus bursa pusillus .
