Type depositories: BMNH: lectototype (male) and a paralectotype (female); GM: paralectotypes (males and a female) ( Hoogstraal et al. 1965a)

Type locality: Carin-Gheen or Yado Cari Ascinii Cheba, Myanmar

Type host: Muntiacus muntjak or Atherurus macrourus (Hoogstraal et al. 1965) .

Comments : Keirans & Hillyard (2001) treated the specimens deposited in the GM as syntypes .
