Type host: not stated

Current status: a synonym of Dermacentor tricuspis and its original name, as discussed in Apanaskevich et al. (2021). The current status of Dermacentor compactus tricuspis , as Dermacentor tricuspis , was also established by these authors.

Comments: Schulze (1933a) stated that the holotype of Indocentor compactus tricuspis was deposited in the ZMB, but it was not included in the list of ZMB types by Moritz & Fischer (1981).
