Description
Large species (body length 6.0– 9.1 mm) with black head, legs and elytral apex.
Remarks
This group currently includes four species from West Africa, one of which ( M. vinculata ) also occurs in East Africa. Species included: Melitonoma juvenca (Lacordaire, 1848) , M. simoni Weise, 1881 , M. vinculata Weise, 1910 and M. dalaba sp. nov.
