Synonymy note. After reviewing the original description of Heterogomphus onorei View in CoL , it was evident to us that it is conspecific with Heterogomphus curvicornis View in CoL . When comparing the drawing of the genitalia illustrated by Voirin (1984) with the genitalia of Heterogomphus curvicornis View in CoL in lateral and frontal views of the parameres, they are identical.
